Your newborn session is scheduled in advance, based on your due date. For newborns, I like to photograph in the first 1-2 weeks of life. The sweet spot is 3-10 days! Once you’re on my books for a newborn session, it’s a floating appointment. The final date and time gets set once you’ve had the baby – so no matter if your baby is late, early, or born right on your due date, we will find a date that works best for you!

Whether baby is asleep, awake, crying, changing or nursing we will capture an hour in the life of your newborn, of course with my guidance for posing.

It can be a waiting game to get baby to sleep. This allows me to wrap and pose them in those adorable ways. Don’t worry if your baby is awake the entire time we will still capture great images.

Capturing the connection you already have with your little peanut, the way your husband makes you laugh or how he looks into your eyes with excitement for what’s to come. A maternity session is a wonderful way to document the first steps of your journey into motherhood.
+ All newborn sessions include a phone (prop and style) consultation, a 1 to 3 hour portrait session allowing plenty of time for feeding and soothing, and an in-person design consultation
+ I come to your home with the entire newborn set-up and a variety of props utilizing your living room, bedroom and nursery
+ All props and wraps will be sanitized in-between sessions
+ Newborn safety is a priority. I take great pride in being an expert in baby safety, soothing, posing and handling infants.
